Awakenings Fantasy
12 Races including old favourites like Dwarf, Gnome, and Halfling but with several new races including the Imka, Mittergarn, Eagle Elves, Ghost Elves and Pridekin.

Races
Dwarf
Dwarves are short and stocky humanoids, resembling humans but with a more muscular build. They typically stand between 4 and 5 feet tall and can usually be found sporting a wonderful beard.

Races
Glass Elf
Glass elves originate from “Astroglass” a great and powerful kingdom in the Southern western continent of An’whei. From their desert fortresses they beat back the tides of Orckin and Goblinoids pouring across from the West.

Races
Eagle Elf
Living in small tribal groups these hardy elves are accustomed to harsh conditions up on the Spineback mountains. They are known for their hunting, climbing and survival skills.

Races
Gnome
Gnomes are thoughtful and nimble. They have a very small frame and usually struggle to reach 4ft tall. Gnomes are usually found in large communities often sharing space with Dwarves, Halflings or Imka.

Races
Ghost Elf
Ghost elves were once the undisputed masters of the Fade until hubris caused a terrible event that changed their race forever giving them their ghostly white skin.

Races
Goblinoid
Goblins live in clans often with their bigger Orckin cousins and the biggest is always the best in their society. Might makes right.
This usually means that if you are a goblin, you are at the bottom of the pecking order!

Races
Halfling
Halflings are small, cheerful humanoids. They often use their small stature to go unnoticed in tricky situations. Halflings live in small nomadic tribes that migrate across the land in search of food. They are very social creatures.

Races
Mittergarn
The Mittergarn are shaped from crystals, minerals and stone. How they came to be is anyone’s guess but there are rumours of ancient Dwarven magic and a volcano.

Races
Human
Humans are the most adaptable and diverse of all the races in the realm of An’whei. They come from a variety of cultures, which influences their skills, beliefs, and abilities.

Races
Orckin
Orckin or half-orcs as they are sometimes called are strong and stocky. Standing between five and seven feet tall, they can often be an imposing sight on the battlefield. Unwanted by most cultures they tend to be nomads and often dismiss society entirely.

Races
Imka
The Imka seem to be descended from the red bears often found in coniferous forests across An’whei. They revere The Twisting goddess and believe that it is she who created their race.

Races
Pridekin
Pridekin, much like Humans come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Wolf, cat, turtle and dragonkin types are widely seen across the lands. These humanoid-creature hybrids are believed to have been created by the Twisting goddess.
